Hello,

I have dealt with this guy many times in the past, I get the 9mm and 45 bullets from him. Hard bullets, good lube and I also use his #8 shot for trap shooting.

Looked them up and seems they have a pretty good selection. I checked out the 44mag, 1000 for around $58.00 or so.

Beartooth Bullets are just about all I shoot anymore.  Can drive them in rifles, so I figure they are hard enough?

Sako. I dunno if it's changed since I split from Kommieforina in 1970, never to return, but IIRC, all monies going to fish & game went into the general fund and then fish & game had to go hat in hand for whatever money they could get. As far as the ecofreaks go, there also used to be a special doe hunt and one had to draw for tags and 'm talking mid 1950's to 1970 when I pulled up stakes and moved to the real world. The Sierra Club had some kind of in and got all the tags. On labor Day week end, they'd have a big party and burn all the tags.

The biggest problem with Cali's game & fish departent is all the head honchos running the show are political appointees who ignore what the game biologist's recommendations and prefer the data from PETA and their ilk. That's why does and spikes are sacred cows. Spikes are genetically inferiorBetween that BS and Feinstein being the mayor of San Francisco, I'd had enough. To add insult to injury, my then girl friend had moved to Reno Nevada and that was the last straw. Guess it was a good move at that as we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary on the 3rd of this month.

Until you get the politics out of fish & game and get the law changed so that they can keep their money, you'll continue to get the crappy regulations like no lead bullets.

Your problem is you gun owners and hunter are not as well organized as PETA and their partners in crime. Shotgun lovers hate black rifles, rifle shooter hate handguns, black rifle owner are considered terorist and so on. Get organized and then you will get somewhere. Kind of a "united we stand" type of thing.

I like: http://www.beartoothbullets.com/

Can drive them pretty hard without fouling, then again they are gas-checked.

I've bought a variety of handgun bullets from the Missouri Bullet Company. Great products, bullets are hardness optimized for intended use, and great fast service.

Very hard bullets, supposed to brinnell test in the 24 area.
Never shot any of their gas-checked rifle bullets, but shot thousands in my .45 and 9mm, stopped the old .45's severe leading cold in it's tracks, really accurate too (as far as my with a handgun. LOL

Excelent pricing too, IMO, not to mention, order 5,000 right now, get 6,000.

I would like to see the PETA models walking down the road in my area with just their signs on. and it isn't that cold out yet.

AZPaul,

Why not start casting your own? You can get started with a simple Lee casting package.

Vern has a good selection  of obsolete Boolit molds, and you can order them as cast for sizing with you own lube.
Prices are very reasonable.

Here's another vote for Missouri Bullet company.  Good people to deal with and a great product.
