We will find out soon I ordered one. I figure if it doesn't work, there are worse things I've thrown 40 bucks away on.

I make my own and never had any problems
I've used copper flashing and Pepsi cans, both work fine

I received the .22 cal free chex tool I purchased off ebay. I played around with several types of metals, soup can lids make a gas check that is 1.2g the same wt as Lyman GC. They seat the bullet very nicely suck up tight like the Lyman GC's, won't come off at all. Soda can Alluminum is too thin and is deformed after running it through the lube/sizer. Ball jag lids too thin, alum flashing gets deformed and bubbles the base, coffee can and soup cans themselves are too thick. Mayo lids are too soft and deform. I tried 4 or 5 other things I had lying around but the soup can and coffee can lids worked the best. Once I got the hang of it, I punched out around 100 GC in about 1hr 15min. I have more time than money and everyone is back-ordered on GC so I felt pretty good about it. I haven't had time to load any up to go shoot them, but they look, weigh, and seat great.
