Where is a good place to get bullets?

Hard to say, good deals are where you find them. Grafs, Midway, Midsouth, Bartlett, and on and on and on.Sales go on and off all the time.

On line, just google up 9mm FMJ. It's the most reloaded round out there these days, and every that makes a bullet, makes a 9mm bullet.
Experience is what you get, when you don\'t get what you want ;-)

9mm FMJ? First check Precision Delta, Powder Valley, and RMR. Avoid plated, unless they are "good enough."

Lead bullets with a thin copper plating, not nearly as thick as a jacket. They're usually priced between lead and jacketed. The plating allows loading without lubes and gas checks. Some manufacturers have separate data for plated but most say to use lead bullet data. I would be a second vote for Precision Delta for jacketed bullets. If you buy 2000 you can get pretty close to the plated bullet price with shipping included. I've used their 115 grain 9mm quite a bit and I'm getting ready to go up to the 124 grains.

LGS is selling brand name 9mm fmj for $52 500. plated abut $47 for 500.

remember bullets are heavy and if only buying a few 100 mailing will kill a good price.

Actually, I often find that FMJ's are higher priced than a JHP, this is especially so with typical big brand bullets, Speer, Hornady, Sierra and Nosler.

But if going the Montana Gold and other knock of brands, one can sometimes find pretty decent deals on their bulk jacketed bullets. I think I got JHP's for about .08 each from MG when I bought bulk. I like their prices and their quality, they've shot every bit as accurately as XTP's.

I don't load plated, tried them, but the accuracy has been poor, and the velocity restrictions take some of the fun out of this hobby for me, I like shooting full house loads. But the same has been true with FMJ's, they just haven't been nearly as accurate as a FP or JHP. I think it was FP MG's I tried a while back, and they shot very well, compared to JHP's. accuracy was about the same.
